About Me

My name is Steve Robinson. I have been in the US Air Force for over 20 years. I'm an Avionics Technician and have worked on the MH-53J, 7 different C-130 models, F-35, and currently the F-22. I'm stationed at JBER, AK, with my wife, daughter, and Husky. My hobbies include:

  • Playing video games.
  • Playing trading card games.
  • Playing board games.
  • Watching random TV shows with the family.

When it comes to the IT field, I have some experience. I have built several computers, and over the last few years, I have been learning how to get more out of the Microsoft programs we use every day. My favorite program I am messing around with right now is Excel. Other than these few things, I only have a little knowledge. Seeing what can be done with computers has made me want to start the next chapter of my life after I retire. It is an ever-growing field, and with AI getting more advanced, for my next chapter, I want to be part of and aid in the technology growth. From this course, I want to understand the fundamentals of IT more. Everything I have done so far has been self-taught. To make this a possible career, I need to go back and learn the basics.
